This deep, ripe and dense 2018 wine is a beauty! The vinification is now very traditional and the wine is a blend of 70-90% merlot depending on the vintage, with the balance cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon, is fermented in steel tanks, then aged in barrels and steel. The wine is deep and inky coloured, quite ripe with traditional cigar box, plum and cassis aromas, nice firm solid structure. Lovely weight, liberal fruit and quite a long and lavish finish making this an amazing value red.
