GM Gus Pollard says that longevity will be a feature of these wines, including the chardonnay that is tightly wound, with tension and not at all relaxed, albeit in the Bannockburn style of cashews, ripe pineapple, fleshy stone fruits, grapefruit and brioche. There is ample weight, density textural complexity and pleasing generosity.
