He is happier with the yields of 2025 but at double that of 2024 they were still only 20 h\/l per ha (less than 1.4 t\/acre)! These low yields and the warm and sunny finish to the \"coolish\" season gave deeply coloured and deeply concentrated wines with real richness and class. See the Decanter review below that mentions the exceptional tannin and acid structure in these wines. The Cissac vineyards border St. Estephe to the north and apart from a small forest Lafite, Pontet Canet and Mouton Rothschild to the East. The vines are about 45yo average age and the wine is aged in 80% small barrels (20% new) and the rest in amphora and large foudres.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eTo drink or to cellar this is prime value at this remarkable \"direct from Chateau\" price.
