It’s \u003cstrong\u003eonly 0.47 hectares \u003c\/strong\u003eand the soil is marl and limestone, situated at 380mas above the hamlet of Melin up the valley past Petit Auxey. The vines are certified organic, \u003cstrong\u003etended by Domaine Leflaive\u003c\/strong\u003e, and the wine is vinified by them also. It gets a modest amount of new oak and is made the same way \u003cstrong\u003e(in this vintage by Pierre Vincent)\u003c\/strong\u003e as the other Leflaive wines. The site was abandoned after the 1930s phylloxera crisis before being replanted around 2010 a year after Francois purchased it.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt has a classy and sophisticated aroma, gently reductive, with pineapple, lime and peach and a plush, soft middle. The palate presents itself with a very nice balance, impressive power and a refined acidity; the pillowy plushness and the nice backbone are in harmony.
