Here a more restrained nose somewhat grudgingly offers up an array of pretty red berry scents that are trimmed in notes of earth, wood and a suggestion of smoked game. The delicious and vibrant larger-bodied flavors are both more powerful and more concentration though they don't have the refinement or sophistication of the Reignots on the beautifully long and more complex finale where the only nit is a touch of warmth.
