It's ironic in its fashion that in 2023 the fermenters were so full that I had to carefully watch the temperatures to be sure that they didn't overheat due to the sheer volumes. However, in 2024 it was also necessary to watch the temperatures but in this case, to be sure that they weren't too low such that the fermentations stopped! I used no new wood during the élevage and the wines have surprisingly improved month by month. The caressing, delicious and vibrant middle weight flavors possess an attractive mid-palate texture that contrasts mildly with the ever-so-mildly edgy finish. This lightly austere effort was displaying quite a bit of gas so it's quite possible that the edginess of the finish is attributable to its presence.
