This is located near the sleepy village of Portets in the centre of Graves close to the Garonne River. The estate is 20ha on clay / limestone and some gravel, south facing, and it was originally owned by monks in the 1600’s. It’s planted with 65% merlot, 25% cabernet and 10% franc. The fermentation is classic and then the wine is aged in 225lt barrels for between 9-12 months.
