100pt SC Pannell Grenache + 99pt Koomilya Shiraz (Halliday 2026 Shiraz of the Year)
. I tasted the newly released range of SC Pannel wines last week and I was blown-away by the class, completeness and character of these reds. The grenaches have super-impressive depth and complex flavours with satisfying grip and energy. The shiraz reds transcend the McLaren Vale norm but still speak of site whilst being truly classy, even on the international stage and under the spotlight. They are full and rich, but also appeal to my demands for high quality with a freakish complexity of detail.
