Wow, I read the reviews, and I’ve tasted “blended top sites” Produttori belore, but this one is richer, deeper, plusher and shows its high quality with aplomb. Even though it's plush and firm, and it can be drunk now because of its near perfect balance, it will be better in 8-10 years. It shows, earthy, damp cellar, rust, clean old leather, liquorice, red berry and slight floral, fig and twiggy aromas and flavours. The palate is very firm, but not razor sharp, not searingly astringent; in fact the tannins are ripe, cleansing and silky. They have a firm, soothing grip a talented massage therapist would give, not “wishy-washy”, but there is comfort in strength.
At 14.5% is “kind of normal” and the growers obviously had no problem with ripeness and flavour concentration. I’m buying some!

The 2018 Produttori Barbaresco is contains all your favourite Crus blended together as a decision was made in 2018 to not make any Riserva wines and produce this one Barbaresco Classico (and declassify to "Nebbiolo" what would have normally gone into the Barbaresco).
"Lovely barbaresco, with all the typical nebbiolo characteristics, such as red berries, mushrooms and dried leaves, as well as hints of bitter orange peel and spice. All this follows through to the medium-to full-bodied palate, where fine, lightly firm tannins add a little grip and additional focus. Compact, but bursting with flavor.
