If the above headline doesn't scream rare, also consider that this wine is only made in the best of years. As Erin Larkin (The Wine Advocate) rightly puts it, "this is one of the most magnificent Chardonnays in Australia. (98pts)" The VR stands for vintage reserve, and Erin goes on to confess that this is "everything I hope it will be." Such praise requires little-to-no intro; all there's left to say is get in quick!

    2022 Pierro VR Chardonnay
    $194 | Offer: $174

"The Pierro VR Chardonnay is the last premium Chardonnay of the region to be released each year. It's not released every year, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't sad about that. I respect the decision to only highlight suitable/excellent years, but I do wish it was a mainstay. The 2022 Vintage Reserve Chardonnay is everything I hope it would be. It is nutty, complex, profoundly weighty and powerful, with chamomile flowers (I feel this is the vintage shining through), yellow fruit and exceptional length. This is one of the most magnificent Chardonnays in Australia."
98 Points - Erin Larkin, The Wine Advocate

2023 Leeuwin Estate Art Series Chardonnay
    $159 | Offer: $149

“This brilliant Chardonnay will surely come to be ranked, not only amongst the best ever from this legendary estate, not only among the best from this thrilling region, but among the best Australia has ever made. This is Grand Cru quality at what has sadly become Village pricing. A profound Chardonnay destined to become a bucketlist wine... Leeuwin have made some mindbogglingly good Chardonnays over the years, but I think none better.” 99 Points - Ken Gargett, Wine Pilot

    2024 Cullen 'Kevin John' Chardonnay
    $195 | Offer: $174

"I like this very much, the intensity dial turned down a notch, and there is an even flow of fruit-weight and freshness, with a curb of well-placed phenolics... An excellent Kevin John. From biodynamically grown grapes." 97 Points, Ned Goodwin, James Suckling

2022 Simon Bize Bourgogne Blanc 'Les Perrieres'
    $134 | Offer: $95

"Pale colour, notably reductive on the nose. Fresh apples, a little in the cidery sulphur free style, with a positive bench of white fruit thereafter. Medium length, with good acidity. Has been reductive all its life so may not be sulphured. Drink from 2025-2027." 87-89 Points - Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy

2021 Simon Bize Savigny-les-Beaune Villages Blanc
    $145 | Offer: $125

"Aromas of pear, freshly baked bread, nutmeg and light reduction introduce the 2021 Savigny-lès-Beaune Blanc, a medium-bodied, fleshy and satiny wine underpinned by tangy acids and exhibiting a vibrant but textural profile." 89 Points - William Kelley, The Wine Advocate

2022 Simon Bize Savigny-les-Beaune 1er 'Aux Vergelesses' Blanc
    $270 | Offer: $179

"Half in a foudre, half in a barrel. Pale colour with a faint green streak. The reduction is keeping the wine tense, while the fruit on the palate is immediately engaging. Ripe limes, fresh apple, a certain sensuality behind, and an excellent long finish. Drink from 2026-2032. 91-93 Points - Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
