2023 Release + Museum Triolets/Chardonnay

These new wines are very special, even for Mount Mary standards!
Of special interest is the selection of Triolets, some aged. Recently a friend opened a 2005 Triolet and it was a glorious and surprisingly youthful white of sheer class and special interest. Cheers, Randall.

This iconic Yarra Valley estate represents the pinnacle of Australian wine with each passing vintage. 2023 is no exception, as Halliday Wine Companion pegs the Pinot as the Pinot of the Year for their 2026 selection. The Quintet is a classic must-have for every Australian cellar, with its blanc counterpart - the Triolet - possibly one of the greatest unsung heroes and longest living of Aussie wines.

Pinot only available in a 4-pack mix.
Be quick - quantities are extremely limited!

"Mount Mary was one of the foremost pioneers of the Yarra Valley after 50 years without viticultural activity. From the outset they produced wines of rare finesse and purity. The late founder, Dr John Middleton, practised near-obsessive attention to detail long before that phrase slid into oenological vernacular. He relentlessly strove for perfection and all 4 of the wines in the original Mount Mary portfolio achieved just that (within the context of each vintage). Charming grandson Sam Middleton is equally dedicated, assuming the winemaker mantle in ’11. In ’08 Mount Mary commenced a detailed program of vine improvement, in particular assessing the implications of progressively moving towards a 100% grafted vineyard to provide immunity from phylloxera and a move to sustainable organic viticulture. - James Halliday
