I tasted these earlier this week and even though I'd read about the determined rejuvenation going on here, and the vast improvement in the wines, I was still surprised by the quality and amazing value of these wines!

This estate is amongst the oldest and most historically significant estates in all of France. It was originally financed by Francois de la Chaise, Chaplain to Louis XIV in the late 17th century and has been producing wine continually since then, garnering a reputation for quality and longevity that continues under the Gruy family who purchased it in 2017.
