What this wine has that so many New World rosés don’t is a red / rosé mouthfeel, IE not a white wine acid mouthfeel, the 3 days skin contact working their magic very well. It’s 100% pinot, hand picked from the Rays Road in Hawke’s Bay and the ripe fruit and 14% alc. are sneakily well hidden by crisp acidity and the slight textural firmness.
