The 2024 Holyman Pinot Noir hasn’t yet been formally reviewed, but given the track record, recent vintages regularly scoring in the mid-90s, expectations are high. The wine was fermented with 70% whole bunches following a week-long cold soak, using only native yeasts. The warm 2024 season has produced a Pinot of generosity and drive, black cherry, plum, and earthy spice framed by fine tannins and a savoury edge. It’s fuller than the 2023 yet retains the Holyman thread of structure and balance that makes these wines so cellar-worthy. Tasted in the warehouse and noted by Jane Semple
