Clover Hill Rose NV 750ml Bottle
Regular price $45.00 Sale price $44.00A gentle hue segues to notes of crab apple and crushed strawberry. Generous and expansive, with ample fruit and extract, befitting the upfront style with generous aplomb. A toasty mid-palate is lathered in cream, making the wine even more becoming and salubrious of feel. A real fruity crowd pleaser. Rose seems to be a strong point at this address and this in no exception. Bronze Medial & 93 Points - Ned Goodwin MW, Melbourne Royal Wine Awards 2024
'Clover Hill's sparklers show off Tasmania's prowess when it comes to serious, traditional method bubbly. With this golden, rose-tinted wine, the nose opens with yeasty, honeyed, baked pear notes with just sprinkles of ground clove, ginger spice and cherry blossoms. The creamy texture is lifted by persistent bubbles. There's a slight bitterness to the finish, and it lacks a little depth of flavor, but overall this is quite the classy drop.' 93 points - Christina Pickard, The Wine Enthusiast
'As with the NV Cuvee, the '17 base vintage is a blend of 59% chardonnay, 37% pinot noir and 4% pinot meunier. Pale pink without any salmon, it does taste of wild strawberries together with Turkish delight/nougat, and gains freshness from its residual sugar/dosage of 7.5g/l.' 92 points - James Halliday , Halliday Wine Companion
'As fun and easy-going as its sibling, this shows pastry, strawberries, raspberries, cherries and a hint of spice. Again this is definitely one for brunchy fun but this time, lean into some quality bacon, sausage, hash brown and mushrooms type of action. Or, maybe go for the classic for a hot day of a duck and rocket salad with pomegranate. Either way, get some friends involved and let the sunshine and gossip flow.' 92 Points - Curly Haslam-Coates, The Wine Front
