    DEEP WOODS EATATE
Deep Woods Estate has become one of Margaret River’s modern benchmarks, and the new releases show exactly why. Under Julian Langworthy (2024 WA Good Food Guide Winemaker of the Year) the estate continues its ascent, making wines of precision, purity and regional charm. Backed by a stellar team and guided by sustainable viticulture, Deep Woods brings together pristine Yallingup fruit and a light-touch philosophy that lets the vineyards speak. From vibrant, drink-now styles to formidable cellar candidates, these new wines underscore why Deep Woods was also named Producer of the Year in 2024, and why Margaret River’s star keeps rising. There is no doubt that Australian wine on the whole is on the rise right now, Deep Woods makes a mighty contribution to this recognition.

2024 Deep Woods Estate 'Estate' Chardonnay $22.90
    $264 doz

There is everything you want in this chardonnay, classic Margaret River weight and class, ripe fruit, savoury, cashew / nutty elements. Rich and deep, full bodied and well balanced. This could be THE BEST value chardonnay in Australia (and hence, the world) right now.

2024 Deep Woods Estate 'Reserve' Chardonnay $79.90
'Another excellent release with a touch of sun and a now cult-like following. Reductive-edged aromas of struck match, grapefruit, crushed stones and a steely, almost metallic polish. The palate is tightly wound but a little more generous and open, reflecting the warmer vintage, with searing acidity, generous fruit and high tension. Truly excellent. Drink or hold. Screw cap.'

2023 Deep Woods 'Reserve' Cabernet $89.90
'What a release of this almost-cult wine. Aromatic lift and real depth of flavor with red and black currants, potpourri, cocoa beans and fresh blue fruit as well as blood plums, black cherries, cedar and iron. The profound palate has textural, refined and approachable tannins with a mineral, mouthwatering edge. The cool vintage shows in the wine’s soft, flirtatious appeal. Slightly atypical in style but excellent. Drink or hold. Screw cap.'
