    DENIS RACE

Domaine Denis Race has 18 hectares of enviable holdings, including 3 x 1er Crus with many vines aged up to 65 years. The 4th generation vigneronnes Claire and Marine (a most appropriate name for a Chablis vigneronne!) produce mineral-inflected Chablis with great "cut" and intensity. Oak plays no part, the sisters intending to show a pure expression of their Chablis vines and sites.
2023 was a warm and dry vintage; a very good year, and despite the initial heat, the grapes were aromatic, healthy and ripe and have produced wines that are rich and opulent, yet retaining vibrancy.
The result is expressive, fruity wines with beautiful aromatic profiles and classic "cut".
The 2024 vintage was a much lower yielding vintage with frost and hail taking a toll on volumes. The wines are "cool" in their expression, with great tension and assertive minerality. These wines offer simply unbeatable value, great typicity (or Chablisity!) and remarkible drinking or cellaring opportunity. Look at the prices!
Payment due with order - before end of year 2025.
    Wines due Feb 2026.

    Domaine William Fèvre
One of the undisputed reference points of Chablis. Founded in 1957 by the visionary William Fèvre, the domaine grew from a modest seven hectares into one of the region’s most formidable vineyard holdings, with early and prescient investment in abandoned premier and grand cru sites long before Chablis’ modern renaissance.
Since the estate’s acquisition by the Henriot family, the wines have been shaped by Didier Séguier (formerly of Bouchard Père & Fils), whose calm, precise hand has refined the style while preserving its authority. In 2023, the sale of William Fèvre to Domaines Baron de Rothschild Lafite further underlined the estate’s stature, with continuity assured under Séguier’s ongoing stewardship.
