2019 Ch. Lilian Ladouys Saint-Estephe Cru Bourgeois
    Pre-Arrival: $59 | In Dozens: $55
50% merlot, 45% cabernet sauvignon, 4% petit verdot, 1% cabernet franc
"Offering up aromas of sweet berries, cherries, licorice and spices, the 2019 Lilian Ladouys is medium to full-bodied, ample and charming, with a giving, easygoing profile and a clean, precise finish. It's a competent effort that shows none of the appellation's stereotypically hard edges." 90pts - William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
2015 Ch. Dauzac Margaux 5eme Cru Classe
    Pre-Arrival: $166 | In Mixed Dozens: $151
    70% cabernet sauvignon, 30% merlot
"The 2015 Dauzac has a tightly wound but precise bouquet with scents of blackberry cassis and a hint of violet - very polished and focused. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, pure black fruit laced with graphite and spice, gently building in the mouth, finishing with a precise and quite sustained, Pauillac-inspired grace. This is an excellent wine from the estate that will give 20-25 years of drinking pleasure." 91-93pts - Neal Martin, The Wine Advocate
2016 Ch. Cantenac Brown Margaux 3eme Cru Classe
    Pre-Arrival: $189 | In Mixed Dozens: $174
65% cabernet sauvignon, 30% merlot, 5% cabernet franc
"The 2016 Cantenac Brown comes from a Margaux estate that has upped its game in recent years. It has an intense bouquet with floral aromas filtering through the black cherries, cassis and boysenberry notes, in an odd way almost Saint-Emilion in style. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin. Silky smooth with very well-judged acidity, there is a sorbet-like freshness imbued into this Margaux and it just glides across the palate towards the quite sensual finish. This is certainly equal to the impressive 2015 Cantenac Brown." 92-94pts - Neal Martin, The Wine Advocate
2015 Ch. Kirwan Margaux 3eme Cru Classe
    Pre-Arrival: $199 | In Dozens: $185
"50% cabernet sauvignon, 35% merlot, 10% cabernet franc, 5% petit verdot
A sleek wine with plenty of tannins, but they are already so well integrated that this has a very elegant personality. The long finish is rather mineral and very pure." 93pts - James Suckling
2016 Ch. Grand-Puy Ducasse Pauillac 5eme Cru Classe
    Pre-Arrival: $141 | In Dozens: $129
    63% cabernet sauvignon, 37% merlot
"A medium-bodied and elegant Pauillac with fine, mixed-currant aromas, polished tannins and a lively finish." 92pts - James Suckling
2015 Ch. Branaire Ducru Saint-Julien 4eme Cru Classe
    Pre-Arrival: $199 | In Dozens: $184
70% cabernet sauvignon, 22% merlot, 5% petit verdot, 3% cabernet franc
"The 2016 Branaire-Ducru is a real classic, and in the fullness of time, it will likely rival or even surpass the more charming, demonstrative 2019. Unwinding in the glass with deep aromas of dark berries, cassis, loamy soil, pencil shavings and cigar smoke, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with a taut, structured profile and a long, penetrating finish. The only missing ingredient here is time." 94+pts! - William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
