Giant Steps: '24 Circle of Fifths & Estate & '23 Single Vineyards!

Filter

A new release blending fruit from five estate single vineyard sites

Giant Steps has added two new wines to the fold — Circle of Fifths Chardonnay and Pinot Noir — composed from estate-grown parcels across Applejack, Sexton, Tarraford, Wombat Creek and Primavera.

If you know these vineyards, you know the calibre of fruit. This release sits clearly above the Estate range, offering more depth, detail and drive, made with precision and intent — but at a more accessible price point. Critic scores are strong across the board:

96 points from Halliday Wine Companion (Chardonnay and Pinot)

95 points from Campbell Mattinson, who called the Chardonnay “a killer”

As Head Winemaker Mel Chester puts it:
“Where the single vineyard wines are the pure tones, Circle of Fifths is the chord.” (Sounds like a marketing person put those words on paper for her, but hey, you get the picture! Mel is usually as straight-shooting and as focused with her words as she is with her winemaking!)
