This is a benchmark domaine from southern Cote d'Or near Maranges, just to the south of Chassagne.

From the king of organic viticulture in the Macon, Frederic Burrier, this is hand picked and barrel fermented in used 500lt barrels.

Made by the aforementioned star of Maranges, this is the "good" aligote - aligote dore as opposed to aligote vert. It's a more richly flavoured version.

Didier Picq, the man of steel (he proudly owns no barrels) makes some of the most densely packed, intensly flavoured, seabreezy Chablis' in the region.

A sneaky, beautifully flavoured flinty, struck rock inflected savvy-b that tastes more like Chablis (which is almost where it coms from).
