The 2026 growing season provided near perfect conditions leading into harvest, with slow and steady ripening setting the stage for an outstanding pick for Riesling. Vintage began on 5 March, four weeks later than 2025, before almost 90mm(!!) of rain fell in just 48 hours.
Through careful vineyard management and quick decision-making in the winery, John and the Rieslingfreak team have delivered what they describe as some of the purest expressions of Riesling they have ever seen - a remarkable collection defined by refined elegance, purity, power and poise.
