    2024 Meadowbank Pinot Noir
Meadowbank Pinot Noir has just been awarded the 2025 Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy, Australia’s most prestigious award for young red wine.
We tasted this yesterday, and it's bright and expressive with red cherry, wild strawberry and gentle spice. The palate is fresh and finely structured with the savoury detail that the Derwent Valley often delivers. Nothing is out of place.
At $63, it offers exceptional value for a trophy winning Tasmanian Pinot Noir from one of the state’s standout sites.

    Sorrenberg
Few Australian wineries inspire the loyalty and reverence granted to Sorrenberg. Hidden on the edge of Beechworth, the Morey family’s biodynamic estate continues to produce wines of quiet authority, always sought after and amongst the tip of the pyramid for their genre. Cheers, Randall

    Domaine Bersan
The Domaine Bersan, based in Saint Bris near Chablis has wines that are, as a rule, very concentrated in flavour and super clean, made from well-nurtured grapes. But they have a slight exotic streak from nicely ripened grapes and sometimes a little older-oak barrel fermentation and ageing. These wines are super cheap for the great quality that they are!! We wholeheartedly recommend them to you. Cheers, Randall
