Terre Nere has long been an insider's wine for those "in the know" about this hidden gem of Mt Etna. I’ve seen their venerable pre-phylloxera vineyard myself and visited this beautiful area many times,While these wines provide the same visceral, hedonistic and intellectual excitement of top Burgundy (as the notes and scores below show!, They still remain comparative bargains - if they were Burgundy they would easily be twice the price or more.
