"There is general consensus in the informed wine world that the former star pupil of Klaus Peter Keller is one of the greatest talents of the German wine industry in the last 20 years."

2024 is a small yield, classically styled vintage defined by low alcohol, precise acidity, exceptional finesse and perfect balance. Neither a 'dentist-wince' nor is it flabby.
Julian Haart is one of the most compelling figures in modern German wine: a 13th-generation Mosel grower whose tiny estate, founded in 2010, has already achieved cult status worldwide. After training with some of Germany’s masters including Keller, Heymann-Löwenstein and Egon Müller, Julian and his wife Nadine, turned their focus to minute parcels of old vines in the grand cru vineyards of Ohligsberg and Goldtröpfchen. Here, he produces Rieslings of extraordinary concentration, precision and quiet power. Produced in microscopic quantities (just 300 litres of Kabinett in 2024), from low yielding vineyards, with spontaneous fermentations and stainless-steel élevage, these sleek, tensile wines have earned repeated 100-point scores and fierce global demand. Rare and rigorously priced Julian Haart’s wines are now collected alongside the very greats of the wine world.
