2023 Fontaine-Gagnard Le Montrachet Grand Cru 750ml Bottle

'This year, there are two barrels of the 2023 Montrachet Grand Cru, both one year old. The nose initially shows quite a bit of reduction, but it recedes with time, revealing wonderful crushed stone/oyster shell scents mingling with yellow plum. The palate is very harmonious, vibrant and full of energy with a pitch-perfect line of acidity, weight and density toward the finish, but so, so elegant.
