2024 Bannockburn 1314 Chardonnay 750Ml Bottle

Unique because of the “compressed” ripening of the vintage, too many barrels went through MLF when the winemakers had their attention on processing fruit, meaning that many of these were removed from the blend of the top label Bannockburn chardonnays. This means that this 1314 is 100% mlf, 100% barrel fermented, 20% new oak and as you may expect a very classy and delicious expression for this crazy price. There is ripe grapefruit, fresh pineapple fruit with roasted cashew and savory notes. It’s not a “fat” style and it has lovely balanced acidity giving a classy wine.
