80% from mature vines planted in the commune of Volnay just below the Domaine Pousse d'Or cellar on the "upper" side of the Route Nationale; and 20% from very, very old vines with tiny yields in Chassagne. There is a spicy fruitcake and summer-pudding character, but with freshness of cranberry and clove / cinnamon notes too. (.9ha)
