A little more herbal and cedary. Lovely tension and assertive purity. Clean edges, salty aftertaste. It has a touch more concentration than the Petit Chablis but if you like a more aromatic style, go for the slightly cheaper Petit Chablis even if the straight Chablis tops it very slightly in overall quality. The differences seem more stylistic than qualitative, at least at this early stage, though the Chablis will probably age a bit longer. 16.5/20 - Julia Harding, jancisrobinson.com
