This is the smallest of the burrier holdings, just .15 of a ha. planted by Frederic’s grandfather in 1949. It’s very steep and high, at the limit of the 1er Crus at 400mt. Jasper says that is could hardly be better placed, south facing below the craig of Vergisson, on very rocky earth. Frederic usually makes 2 barrels and has a tiny amount of “topping” wine left over.
