Let’s go aligote! The better white grape of Burgundy, by and large. This is a delight. Fennel, green apple, wet ferns, basil. Wonderful perfume. More of the same to taste, crisp but with depth and texture. Faint cinnamon spice, a lick of wheat biscuit, but mostly about the fruit and herbs. Fresh and bright aromas of green apple, spice and just sliced citrus are trimmed in just a hint of wood. There is equally good intensity to the nicely detailed flavors that conclude in a dry, saline and lingering finish.
