Let’s go aligote! The better white grape of Burgundy, by and large. This is a delight. Fennel, green apple, wet ferns, basil. Wonderful perfume. More of the same to taste, crisp but with depth and texture. Faint cinnamon spice, a lick of wheat biscuit, but mostly about the fruit and herbs.
