2022 Chateau de la Chaize Brouilly 'Combiliaty' 750ml Bottle

This single-site shows well the quality and the style of the estate. It is made (like others in the range) with ageing in mind, but fruity, plush and finely balanced enough to drink right now. There are only 10% of whole bunches in the ferment, and it's pumped over, more like a Cote de Nuits process than normal Beaujolais. It's aged in large oak barrels for 7 months and it shows great freshness, Chambolle-like red fruits and spices, with classy, fine tannins, fresh acidity and vibrancy. it's another beautiful harbinger for the surprisingly great 2022 vintage in Beaujolais.
