2022 Terres de Velle Volnay 'Ez Blanches' 750ml

Ez (means Les) Blanches is, not surprisingly a plot of white limestone shot soil, and it’s royally located adjacent and on top of the famous Clos des Chene 1er Cru.
This plot makes a savoury, struck-rock mineral firm red; a classic burgundy, firm, not too heavy, carrying the 30% new oak well, and a mouth-watering drink. This site is high but it ripens early whilst retaining good freshness.
