'Screw cap. What more could you want from a Middle Mosel Riesling? A perfect vintage with no botrytis, ripe, healthy grapes and ample sunshine have helped create this flavour bomb of a wine. Laser like bright fruit, a stony mineral edge and a lick of background residual sweetness. It’s dangerously easy to drink but will also age for many years in bottle. It’s light and zippy, easy to quaff, but seriously complex if you look deeper into the wine. Tropical fruits, a mix of various citrus offerings, a slatey feel, low in alcohol, high in lovely acidity, and a gentle, playful grip on the finish. Stunning benchmark estate wine.' Randall Pollard
