2022 Joseph Burrier Bourgogne Chardonnay 750ml Bottle

Wow, this price for a good white burgundy; it's cheaper than wholesale prices that restaurants buy equal or lesser bourgogne blancs for. This is  from hillside plots, from around the village of Fuisse and its made and aged in that village. It shows good vibrancy, and authentic lees ageing and slightly smokey barrel-ageing nuances (it's aged in 1/2 350lt barrels and 1/2 tank), struck rock limestone soil character and the Burrier generosity. with pear, white flowers (tea tree / manuka) and grapefruit flavours to name a few. You can't go wrong with this.
