2025 Village Pinot Noir
Despite being the only  wine that is not estate sourced, the Village pinot noir has always held the classic charm of Gembrook. In the cellar, the Upper Yarra fruit receives the same gentle treatment as the estate wines; destemmed, fermented on skins for several weeks, then aged in seasoned large-format French oak and bottled without fining or filtration. The 2025 is beautifully perfumed and has decent structural depth with soft but present tannins and excellent fruit intensity. Jane Semple
