2024 Domaine Faiveley Ladoix ‘Les Mames Blanches’ Blanc
Regular price $106.00 Sale price $98.00
With its charming lemon peel, white peach fruit and crisp,
fresh acidity, the Ladoix Blanc from Faiveley is a classic,
refreshing but not lacking in substance. The grapes are from
3ha that were replanted from Pinot Noir in the lieux-dits Les
Marnes and Les Blanchards. It provides a very worthy entry
point into Côte d’Or white Burgundy at an affordable price.

Replanted in 2013 for three quarters. Fullish yellow, some
reductive character on the nose. Fresh citrus, lively, a little
touch of wood to finish. Nicely crafted and a pleasure to drink
any time.

The 2024 Ladoix La Marne Blanche (a cuvée name made by
Faiveley rather than a lieu-dit) has a pretty nose with lime
and citrus fruit, good intensity for a white Ladoix. The palate
is well balanced with a keen line of acidity and good tension
with a twist of bitter lemon on the finish. Fine.
