    Bindi Single Vineyard Pinot Noir

"I had long admired the Pinots and Chardonnays of Bindi so it was great to see the tall, dark, handsome Michael Dhillon in situ. He is one of those winemakers who gives the impression of being utterly confident on his quest for ever-increasing wine quality. The wines are certainly impressive."

"Dhillon owns an extraordinary microcosm of Burgundy-inspired landscape within one of Australia’s coolest wine regions." - Jeremy Oliver, Wine Selector Magazine

    2025 Dhillon Macedon Ranges Chardonnay
    Offer: $39

This is an ongoing Michael Dhillon project borne of the the granite soils at Glenhope, at the northern end of the Macedon Ranges at 460m above sea-level. The vineyard was established in 1995 and Michael says that the fruit was ostensibly “lost” interstate until new Victorian owners took over the vineyard in spring 2021. This fragrant, stoney, gently spicy Chardonnay has delicious, subtle fruit complexity of lemon, mandarin and yellow plum. It is, of course, youthful and vigorous, with creamy texturtal mouthfeel that builds power, drive and austerity for a long finish. It is fermented in barrels spontaneously, and matured in said barrels of which 20% are new (surprising, because this gets totally lost within the wine). This is really lovely and will age gracefully also.

    2024 Bindi Kaye Pinot Noir
    $135 | Offer: $110

"Perfumed and nuanced, with aromas of wild raspberries, dark cherries, spices, wet earth, citrus peel, cured meats, crushed stones and beets. The palate is finely woven and mid-weighted, with a seamlessly integrated mouthfeel that shows mineral grip and fine-boned structure. Really delicious, with a savory undertone supporting the beautiful fruit and spice. Excellent." 97Pts. - Ryan Montgomery, James Suckling

    2023 Bindi Darshan Pinot Noir
    Offer: $179

"Such a pretty wine; there’s a lightness of touch on the palate and wonderful perfume with the aromatics. Wafts of red roses, autumn leaves, incense and raspberry leaf. The palate is light with soft, silky tannins and cleansing acidity, and while you wouldn’t really call this complex, you would say it’s a lovely drink."

    2024 Bindi Darshan Pinot Noir
    Offer: $179

"A bit more volume this vintage, which seems to suit Darshan, filling out the palate with more definition and roundness to the tannins. It’s still a refined style, light and fresh with sweet cherries and spice, pips also, a touch of Campari and Italian herbs, plenty of savoury inflections and a lingering finish."

2024 Bindi Block 8 Pinot Noir
    Offer: $179

"Lots of flavour –from macerated plums and cherries, Middle Eastern spices and a slight wild aroma (like bresaola) to cedary oak and quince pomace. Full bodied, densely packed tannins and lots of refreshing acidity. Another year or so in bottle will see this change dramatically." 96Pts. - Jane Faulkner, Halliday Wine Companion

2023 Bindi Block 5 Pinot Noir
    Offer: $179

"Everything about this wine, I love: its elegance, its precision and definition. It feels light at first but flavours build, the cherries and pips, the sweet nutty spices, the dash of Campari and fleck of fresh herbs. It’s on the lighter side of medium bodied, with superfine, powdery tannins and matching acidity all heading to a lingering finish." 97Pts. - Jane Faulkner, Halliday Wine Companion

2024 Bindi Block 5 Pinot Noir
    Offer: $179

"Small yields in ’24, which is heartbreaking, and yet the top wines, including this, are quite spectacular. All the aromas and flavours of the site are on display with some amplification – blood orange and Campari, warm earth and autumn leaves, red/black cherries and pips. There’s a light taste of stems and beetroot, plus exotic spices. The palate fleshes out to medium bodied, with supple if plentiful tannins layered with pops of sweetness and a tang to the acidity. Beautifully defined. You’d be gleeful to drink this today, but Block 5 is so much better with time."
