2022 Simon Bize Savigny-les-Beaune Rouge 750ml

A cuvée blending of parcels across 3.9ha planted between 1965 and 1978 situated on the right bank of the Rhoin river. Tasted in the cellar in March last year, this is a riot of raspberry, sappy balsam and is very pretty, full flavoured, fine and well textured.
"Mid pink to crimson. The bouquet is deliciously perfumed, the floral side of red berry fruit, with some raspberries showing through on the palate behind. Very pure, crisp acidity, light white pepper, now some cherry blossom. Very lovely in a light and fine style, tip-top for a village.
