2023 Jülg 'Vom Kalk' Spätburgunder 750ml

The 2023 Spätburgunder vom Kalk was picked across the Pinot sites in Schweigen and Weissenburg. This matured in one large 1,800-liter barrel of Pfalz oak and used pièce. Cherry and berry notes are immediately tart and juicy on the nose. This manages to be nimble and bright while already presenting a serious Pinot. Supple smokiness perfumes that slightly crunchy but certainly fine tannins while wonderful freshness makes this a joy. This is a lovely Pinot with superb fruit. (Bone-dry)
