Completely destemmed and raised in 400lt barrels, with 10%. Due to hail in June the vintage is 40 50% down, but as this wine shows , it’s a “fruit vintage”. This has impressive structure for a Bourgogne and ripe blueberry and dark cherry fruit with Asian spices and nuances of bayleaf, iodine and herbal amaro notes. The texture is silky and fleshy.
