"From a very small harvest with small berries and flavourful exotic wines. This is from 1 plot that is a west-facing slope so it gets the long and warm afternoon sunshine. When I tasted this from barrel, I thought, if I tasted this blind I would surely pick it as a villages level. The slope is limestone at the bottom and marl (limestone and clay rocks) at the top, so there is a mineral and gently firm structure that carries the red berry fruit, Asian spice mix and fleshy richness of this red."
