It's from 100% organic estate-grown grapes and I tasted this at the estate earlier this year . Daniel Wagner said he was surprised by the high extract level in this wine and after I commented on the intense and exotic aromas (peach, paw-paw, mango etc.) he said yes, it's surprising that it's only 12% alc. and yet tastes so full and "complete" . He also added that it is  100% spontaneously fermented (wild yeasts), all the grapes are crushed, AND 30% matured  in 600-3000lt barrels on lees. Wow,  this is almost unheard of for an "Estate" riesling! It really is a mind-blowingly great wine for this price ,and it's well-suited to cellaring for a while too!" Randall.

The 2023 Riesling is from the younger vines and lower reaches of the Grosse Lagen of Höllberg and Heerkret all fermented spontaneously in both stainless steel and wood. Exquisitely aromatic Seville orange and bergam peel come with a sexy touch of flint. The palate is all juiciness, energy and elan, flowing with abandon and spraying with fruit, aroma, purity and freshness. This is incredibly lively, bone-dry and vivid. (Bone-dry)
