This Clarete hails from a vineyard tended by Secundino, a 92-year-old figure of immense local knowledge in Canalejas de Peñafiel, whose guidance has been instrumental in preserving traditional viticulture. Made as a tribute to both him and the classic Clarete style of Ribera del Duero, the wine offers a poised interplay of density, power, and elegance. A field blend of Albillo, Tempranillo, Alarije, and Bobal, it completed full malolactic fermentation and was aged for two years in a seasoned 500-litre barrel. A deeply evocative bottling.
