2024 Holyman Chardonnay 750Ml Bottle

From a tiny parcel of 38-year-old vines, the 2024 Holyman Chardonnay is whole-bunch pressed and naturally fermented in 100% (!!) new French oak puncheons. The wine shows superb fruit clarity, white peach, richer stone fruits, citrus and a trace of almond meal, supported by a taut, saline line of acidity. The oak is seamlessly integrated, lending quiet shape rather than overt flavour. Powerful yet composed, this release captures the tension and drive of cool-climate Tasmania. The 2024 Holyman's are not yet reviewed, it is a very solid campaign on our calendar and we highly recommend the vintage, it's very satisfying. Tasted in the warehouse and noted by Jane Semple
