2020 Heartwines ‘Danger’ Shiraz 750Ml Bottle

Mclaren Vale generosity with perfume and poise from the elevated sites (picked a week later that the Vale floor vineyards) and spicy, sappy amaro nuances from about 30% whole bunches in the ferment. The choice to age the wine in mostly older barrels was made to retain freshness, brightness and fruit flavour. It’s actually turned out to be a sizable and richly flavoured shiraz but it carries a little attitude of a cooler climate wine. There is a wealth of berry fruit flavour underpinned with liquorice, balsam, Campari and black cherry notes. The palate is ripe, rich and silky with ripe tannins gliding through the finish.
