2021 Domaine Courbet Cotes du Jura Savagnin 'L'Origine' 750ml Bottle

Grown in the Marnes Bleues clay soil that are unique to this region and that Savagnin excels in. This small cuvée come from young vines that are crushed and put through a skin maceration for 18 hours. The fermentation and aging process takes place half in neutral oak barrels and half in stainless steel tank, topped up during the aging process in barrel. The result is so typically Savagnin: very floral, fleshy, so textural and bracing in acid.
