The typical super dense purple colour of the vintage. A little bit of cooked cherry. Tough tannins behind, very good acidity, this is a bit of a firm beast, fortunately with good acidity as well. Very long concentrated dark fruit at the finish. Chalky tannins come from the white soil of Aux Raviolles, I am told. Tasted Nov 2021. 89 - 92 Pts - Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
