In the world of wine, Emmanuel Reynaud (who tragically passed in November 2025) is known foremost for his haunting, inimitable Rayas reds. However, it would be a grave mistake to look past the beguiling whites which make for a rivaled counterpart in delivering an entirey unique and rivetting wine experience. 

The 2021 vintage in the southern Rhône was fresh and balanced — after the extreme heat of 2020, a welcome return towards elegance and tension. For the Grenache Blanc, growing on the limestone and sandy soils of Sarrians, 2021 was a dream year: aromatic intensity, cool acidity, creamy texture — everything in equilibrium. The result is a white wine found nowhere else: opulent and taut at the same time, generous and fresh. This is 100% Clariette from vines planted in 1982, harvested from the sandy bottom of the slope where there are richer soils than the Côtes-du-Rhône. Once malolactic fermentation is completed, the wine is aged for 8-9 months.
