2024 Yarra Yering Waterloo Pinot Noir 750Ml Bottle

“This is excellent. These 2024 releases are some of winemaker Sarah Crowe’s best work yet, I’d argue. This Waterloo Pinot Noir is bright and murky at once, in the best of ways, with fresh red cherry, stewed strawberries, sweet and woodsy spice notes, and tips of both mint and smoked cedar. For 2024  Yarra Yering bottled a special release of Pinot Noir called Waterloo which is a high toned ,  elegant drink now expression of Yarra Yering Pinot Noir which Sarah Crowe feels is immediately enjoyable & without the structure for long term cellaring  & is priced accordingly . We also welcome a small parcel of Crecy Chardonnay which is a single block planted as a mixture of clones  namely including the original Yarra Yering clone from 1969 along with clone 548 & clone 95 , it is similar to the Waterloo Pinot Noir as made for more immediate drinking.
