2022 Terres de Velle Bourgogne Cote d'Or Pinot Noir 750ml

This red comes from 2 sites, Champ l’Huillier, in Corpeau, in the plains just below Puligny-Montrachet (which has fruit and flesh) and one in Montpoulains, a plot of the plains of Volnay, with 45-year old vines, giving the wine excellent character and structure. This wine is all agen in barrels with 10-15% being new, for 12-15 months. This has strawberry and cherry fruit with sweet damp earth, a hint of dark liquorice with nice firm structure for a Bourgogne AC, and nice length.
